안양시사회복지협의회(회장 도준우)가 지난 1월 5일 안양사랑펀드 사업의 일환으로 2022 드림장학사업 ‘장학금 및 드림상자’ 전달식을 개최했다.
드림장학사업 대상자는 관내 사회복지시설(기관) 및 행정복지센터, 학교 등의 추천을 통해 선정위원회가 장학생 10명, 드림상자 대상자 40명 등 50명을 선정했다.
이날 전달식은 후원자, 장학생, 드림상자 대상자, 학부모, 관계기관 등 50여명이 참석한 가운데 후원증서 전달, 장학증서 및 장학금 전달, 드림상자(물품지원) 전달, 기념촬영 등의 순서로 진행됐다.
이 사업은 관내 복지소외계층 초·중·고등학생에게 장학금 및 필요한 물품을 제공함으로써 바른 성장을 도모해 청소년복지를 강화하기 위해 추진됐다. 어려운 여건 속에서도 꿈과 희망을 잃지 않고 미래를 위해 최선을 다하는 중·고등학생들을 응원하고 이들의 생활비·교육비 부담을 경감하기 위해 마련됐다.

안양시사회복지협의회는 지역사회연계를 통해 안양로타리클럽 후원으로 안양사랑펀드 1,000만원을 모금했다. 후원자의 뜻에 따라 드림장학사업을 계획 논의, 추진하고, 로타리 회원 봉사활동 전개하믕로써 따뜻한 사회조성에 기여했다.
안양시의 지역복지공동체 구축을 위한 ‘안양사랑펀드’는 한국사회복지협의회와 안양시사회복지협의회가 공동으로 추진하는 프로젝트 사업으로서, 안양시민 뿐만 아니라 안양을 사랑하고 안양에 연고가 있는 전국의 모든 국민들이 후원에 참여 할 수 있다.

Anyang City Social Welfare Council (Chairman Do Jun-woo) held a delivery ceremony for the 2022 Dream Scholarship Project ‘scholarship and dream box’ as part of the Anyang Love Fund project on January 5th.
