브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 대우건설은 지난 3일 2023년 ‘대우건설 릴레이 봉사활동’의 첫 발을 내딛었다고 8일 밝혔다.
대우건설 릴레이 봉사활동은 임직원 참여형 봉사활동 프로그램이다. 전시성 이벤트나 단순 기부 차원을 넘어 봉사활동을 통해 소외된 이웃을 다시 한 번 돌아볼 기회를 갖자는 취지로 마련됐으며, 2012년에 처음 시작돼 12년 동안 지속하고 있다.
2023년 릴레이 봉사활동의 첫 발은 토목사업본부의 임직원이 내딛었다. 토목사업본부 임직원들은 3일 남양주 진전읍에 위치한 장애인 복지시설인 ‘새롬의 집’에서 봉사활동을 진행했다.
토목사업본부는 ‘새롬의 집’에 김치냉장고, 생필품 구매 기부금을 후원했을 뿐만 아니라, 아직 장작으로 난방을 운영하고 있는 ‘새롬의 집’을 위해 임직원들이 직접 장작패기 및 나뭇가지로 추위에 대비할 수 있도록 했다.
