[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 소상공인 지원과 지역경제 활성화를 위해 내달 2일부터 2차 진주사랑상품권(모바일) 90억원을 발행한다.
진주사랑상품권은 1인당 월 20만원 한도 내에서 10% 선할인을 받고 구매할 수 있으며, 선물 한도는 월 40만원까지 가능하다.
시는 지난 1월 설 명절을 맞아 모바일 130억원, 배달앱전용 10억원, 지류상품권 15억원을 발행해 지역경제 활성화에 기여했다.
진주사랑상품권은 가맹점주는 수수료가 없고, 소비자에게는 할인 혜택이 있어 가맹점 등록과 상품권 수요가 꾸준히 증가해 오고 있다.
진주시의 발행규모는 지난 2019년 10억원 발행을 시작으로 2023년 760억 원으로 확대, 가맹점은 지난 2019년 지류 1000여 곳에서 현재는 지류 4800여 곳, 모바일 2만여 곳으로 증가했다.
아울러 시는 진주형배달앱과 배달앱 전용상품권을 출시하고 올해 1월부터는 할인율을 15%로 상향해 소상공인 중개수수료 부담을 완화하고 시민에게 보다 많은 혜택을 주고 있다.
진주시 관계자는 “진주사랑상품권과 진주형배달앱이 골목상권을 살리고, 소상공인과 시민에게 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
