안양시 비산도서관, ‘어린이 그림책 작가 양성과정’ 운영

안양시(시장 최대호)가 오는 3월부터 미술 분야 특성화 도서관인 비산도서관에서 관내 초등학생을 대상으로 ‘어린이 그림책 양성과정’을 운영한다‘.

비산도서관은 2021년부터 진행하고 있는 ‘시민 그림책 작가 양성과정’의 일환으로, 올해는 어린이를 대상으로 그림책 일러스트 기초 과정부터 배울 수 있는 ‘어린이 그림책 양성과정’을 마련했다.

이 과정에서는 일러스트 강좌를 비롯해 글쓰기 기법에 관한 이론교육과 그림책 작가와의 만남 등 연말까지 이어지는 다양한 프로그램을 통해 이야기 창작과정을 전반적으로 학습할 수 있다. 12월에는 수강생의 작품 전시회가 예정되어 있고, 우수 작품에 대해서는 그림책 출판과정까지 지원할 예정이다. 출판된 도서는 시민들이 열람할 수 있도록 비산도서관 어린이자료실에 비치된다.

관내 초등학생은 누구나 안양시립도서관 홈페이지에서 신청 가능하며, 수강료는 전액 무료다.

유옥환 동안구도서관장은 “공공도서관이 누구나 자유롭게 독창적인 표현물을 제작할 수 있는 무한 창작 공간으로 나아갈 수 있도록 지원하겠다”며 “뛰어난 상상력과 표현력을 가진 어린이들의 많은 참여를 기대한다”고 전했다.

Starting in March, Anyang City (Mayor Choi Dae-ho) will operate a ‘Children’s Picture Book Training Course’ for elementary school students at the Bisan Library, a library specialized in the field of art’.

As part of the 'Citizen Picture Book Writer Training Course', which has been in progress since 2021, Bisan Library has prepared a 'Children's Picture Book Training Course' for children to learn from the basics of picture book illustration this year.

In this course, students can learn the overall process of story creation through various programs that last until the end of the year, including illustration lectures, theoretical education on writing techniques, and meetings with picture book authors.
