[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군 남하면은 2일 행정복지센터에서 둔마리 이장 3명, 합천댐지사 관계자 등 10여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘행복이 남하도는 행복택시’ 협약식을 개최했다.
‘행복이 남하도는 행복택시’는 둔마리 3개 마을(대촌, 신촌, 안흥) 주민들이 면소재지까지 편안하게 이동할 수 있도록 한국수자원공사 합천댐지사의 지원을 받아 대중교통수단(행복택시)을 마련해 주민부담금 1000원을 제외한 교통비를 지원하는 사업이다.
그동안 둔마리 마을 주민들은 면소재지까지 이동하기 위해 거창읍을 경유하는 버스를 4회 이용해야 하는 불편이 있었다.
이에 남하면은 둔마리 주민들을 위한 ‘행복이 남하도는 행복택시’ 사업을 계획하고, 한국수자원공사 합천댐지사에서 사업비를 지원받아 올해 3월부터 사업을 시행하게 됐다.
정운석 대촌마을 이장은 “마을 주민들의 불편한 점을 파악하여 사업을 기획해 주신 임양희 면장님과 사업비를 지원해 주신 합천댐지사에 깊이 감사드린다”고 말했다.
지성훈 합천댐지사 경영담당 대리는 “대중교통이 불편한 남하면 둔마리 주민들을 위해 합천댐에서 도움을 드릴 수 있어 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 합천댐지사에서는 댐주변지역 주민들의 행복과 삶의 질 향상을 위해 다양한 지원사업을 펼쳐 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
임양희 남하면장은 “둔마리와 면소재지 사이에 대중교통 수단이 없어 어르신들의 면사무소 방문이 많이 힘들었는데, 행복택시로 불편을 해소하고 소통이 원활해져 더욱 더 행복이 남하도는 남하면을 만들겠다”며 의지를 밝혔다.
