[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 지진발생에 대비해 공공시설물과 민간시설물에 대한 지진 예방대책을 강화하고 안전한 도시를 만들기 위해 행정력을 집중하겠다고 7일 밝혔다.
진주시는 지난 3일 오전 11시 26분께 수곡면 사곡리 일대에서 규모 3.0 진도 4급의 지진 발생은 지난 2016년 3월 28일 진주시 서북서쪽 12km 지역에서 발생한 2.9 규모 지진 이후 최대 규모의 지진이다.
지난 3일 지진으로 관내 읍면동 및 소방서, 유관기관 확인 결과 6일 현재까지 건축물 및 인명 피해는 발생되지 않았지만 시민들은 건축물의 내진보강 대책에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다.
