군포2동 주민자치회(회장 김응주)가 군포시 체육회, 군포시 축구협회와 지난 2월 28일 행정복지센터 대회의실에서 군포2동 여성축구단 창단 지원을 위한 업무협약식을 체결했다.
협약 주요 내용은 △시설 대관 및 인적·물적 지원 △지역사회와 연계·추진하는 대외적 홍보활동 △세 기관의 상호 우호 증진 협력 등의 사항을 포함하고 있다.
세 기관은 업무협약에 따라 군포2동 여성축구단 축구교실 운영 및 창단을 공동 목표로 삼고 지역생활체육 활성화와 건전한 스포츠 문화 조성을 위하여 함께 노력할 예정이다.
이번 협약식은 주민참여예산 사업인 군포2동 여성축구단 축구교실 운영 및 창단의 시작을 알리는 자리로 군포시장 하은호, 군포시 체육회 서정영 회장, 군포시 축구협회 이석진 회장 등 약 20여명이 참석해 상생·우호의 뜻을 다졌다.
군포2동 여성축구단은 3월 선수 모집을 시작으로 축구교실을 운영하여 기본기를 다진 후 오는 10월 여성축구단을 창단할 계획이다.
