진주시평거종합사회복지관, 취약계층 난방비 긴급지원

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시사회복지협의회와 진주시평거종합사회복지관은 치솟은 난방비로 인한 취약계층 부담 완화를 위해 취약계층 난방비 긴급지원사업을 진행했다고 29일 밝혔다.

협의회와 복지관은 판문동, 평거동, 신안동, 이현동, 상봉동 5곳 행정복지센터를 대상으로 에너지 취약계층을 추천받아 가구당 난방비 10만원 총 50명에게 500만원의 난방비를 지원했다.

이 사업은 난방비 급등과 늦겨울 추위로 경제적 어려움을 겪고 있는 에너지 취약계층에 난방비 지원을 통해 경제적 부담을 낮추고 건강한 생활을 지원 하기 위해 진주시평거종합사회복지관 후원금으로 진행됐다.

안병용 평거종합사회복지관장은 “이번 취약계층 난방비 긴급지원사업을 통해 취약계층의 생활 안정에 조금이나마 보탬이 되길 바란다" 며”평거복지관 후원자들의 도움으로 진행할 수 있었다“고 말했다.
