전기자동차 화재 발생시 진화에 어려움이 발생하고 있는 가운데 세종소방서(서장 김경호)가 세종도시교통공사와 지난 14일 세종시 대평동 간선급행버스체계(BRT) 전기버스 차고지에서 전기굴절버스 화재 대비를 위한 합동훈련을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
이날 훈련에서 세종소방서는 무인파괴방수차, 굴절사다리차 등의 특수소방차량을 활용한 화재진압전술을 실시했다.
세종소방서는 또 세종도시교통공사 관계자를 대상으로 초기 화재대응 및 응급처치 교육을 병행했다.
전기굴절버스는 18미터 길이의 84인승 대형 차량으로 지난 2019년 전국 최초로 세종시에 도입돼 총 12대가 운행중이다.
