군포시 산본1동이 5월 가정의 달을 맞아 지난 5월 2일 관내 취약계층 어르신을 모시고 ‘사랑의 효잔치’를 개최했다.
산본1동 주민자치회와 통장협의회, 새마을지도자협의회, 새마을부녀회, 지역사회보장협의체, 바르게살기운동협의회, 노루목방범지대 등 6개 직능단체가 주관해 열린 이날 행사는 산본1동 대회의실과 노루목어린이공원에 어르신 350여명이 참석, 1부 국악공연과 2부 국수 잔치 순으로 진행됐다.
이날 산본새마을금고, 군포신협, 군포농협 산본중앙점, 시장상인회 등이 지역 어르신들을 위해 행사를 후원했다.
지역 예술단체인 한소리국악단(단장 한영숙)은 오랜만에 개최하는 어르신을 위한 행사에 재능기부로 국악공연을 진행했다.
‘사랑의 효잔치’는 참석하신 어르신들에게 카네이션을 달아드리며 훈기를 더했다.
백남용 주민자치회 회장은 “그동안 코로나19로 답답했던 어르신들을 모시고 흥이 있는 공연과 6개 단체에서 직접 준비한 음식을 대접해 드려 뿌듯하다. 어르신들이 늘 건강하고 행복하시길 바란다”고 말했다.
이복순 산본1동장은 “어르신들이 좋아하며 즐기시는 모습을 보니 마음이 뿌듯하다. 행사를 준비해주신 백남용 주민자치회장을 비롯한 6개 직능단체 회장님 그리고 회원분들께 진심으로 감사드리며 앞으로도 따뜻함과 정이 있는 산본1동이 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 전했다.
