군포시 산본1동 노루목푸르미회(회장 정병하)가 지난해 집중호우로 인해 침수피해를 입은 가구를 대상으로 기존 녹슬고 낡은 우편함을 회원들이 직접 만든 우편함으로 교체해주는 사업을 실시하고 있다.
노루목푸르미회는 아름다운 산본1동을 만들고자 2015년부터 주택가 골목에 화단과 벽화를 설치하는 등의 미관개선사업을 추진해 온 산본1동 자생봉사단체이다.
노루목푸르미회는 2023년 군포시 마을공동체 공모사업에 응모하여 선정돼 지난 5월 초부터 ‘희망우편함 달아주기’ 사업을 추진하고 있다.
정병하 노루목푸르미회장은 “지난해 침수피해로 인해 상처를 입은 이웃 주민들의 마음이 이번 사업을 계기로 조금이나마 위로되었으면 좋겠다”고 밝혔다.
이복순 산본1동장은 “노루목푸르미회와 같은 마을공동체가 더욱 활성화되어서 침체되어 있던 지역사회 공동체 의식이 변화되고, 이웃에 대해 관심을 가지고 정을 나누는 산본1동이 됐으면 좋겠다”고 밝혔다.
