의왕미래교육협력지구 학생동아리연합회, 리더십 캠프 개최

의왕시(시장 김성제)가 지난 7월 22일 의왕시청 대회의실에서 관내 중·고교 학생동아리 대표 학생 등 80여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘의왕미래교육협력지구 학생동아리연합회 리더십 캠프’를 개최했다.

이번 캠프에서 중·고등학교 학생동아리 대표 및 부대표로 구성된 연합회원들은 오전에는 리더십 강의를 듣고, 10월에 개최하는 ‘제4회 의왕학생축제’를 기획하는 시간을 가졌다. 오후에는 양궁 서바이벌 게임과 레크레이션 활동 등을 통해 즐거운 시간을 보냈다.

박민재 의왕학생동아리연합회장(의왕고)는 “다른 학교 학생동아리와 교류하고 소통할 수 있어 뜻 깊었다”며, “우리가 주인공이 되는 의왕학생축제를 직접 기획하는 유익한 시간이었다”고 말했다.

김성제 의왕시장은 “오늘 리더십 캠프를 통해 학생동아리 리더로서의 역량을 키우고, 협업 능력을 높일 수 있는 계기가 되길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 내실 있는 학생동아리 활동을 통해 다양한 경험을 쌓으며 성장할 수 있도록 많은 관심과 노력을 기울이겠다”고 말했다.

의왕시는 올해 공모를 통해 53개 학생동아리에 1억여 원을 지원했다.
