브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 일본 정부가 오는 24일부터 후쿠시마 제1원자력발전소에서 발생되는 오염수의 해양 방출을 시작하겠다고 밝혔다.
22일 니혼게이자이신문에 따르면 일본 정부는 이날 관계 각료 회의를 열고, 기상이나 해양 여건에 지장이 없으면 24일부터 오염수 방류를 시작하기로 결정했다.
이에 따라 도쿄전력은 이날 "신속하게 방류 준비에 착수하겠다"고 발표했다.
도코전력은 사장 직할 조직을 만든 뒤, 관계 부서를 총 동원해 오염수 방출 관련 문제에 대응하겠다는 계획이다.
도쿄전력은 "정부의 판단 및 요청을 엄숙하게 받아들이고, 최대한의 긴장감을 가지고 방출 개시를 향한 준비를 신속하게 진행하겠다"면서 "전사적으로 총력을 기울여 신속한 과제 해결 체제를 갖추고 대응에 만전을 기하겠다"고 밝혔다.

Toko Electric Power plans to create an organization under the presidency and mobilize all related departments to respond to problems related to the discharge of contaminated water.
TEPCO said, "We will solemnly accept the government's judgment and requests and quickly prepare for the launch of the release with maximum tension," adding, "We will make all-out efforts to establish a rapid task-solving system and make every effort to respond."
