과천시가 지난 9월 21일 2024년도 과천시 생활임금을 올해보다 2.5% 오른 시급 1만1,600원으로 결정했다.

시급 1만1,600원은 고용노동부가 고시한 내년도 최저임금(9,860원)의 117.65% 수준. 209시간 기준 월 급여는 올해 236만3,790원보다 6만610원 오른 242만4,400원이다.
과천시는 2016부터 꾸준히 ‘생활임금’을 인상해 왔다. 2023년도 과천시 생활임금은 경기도 내 3위 수준이며, 대상자는 과천시 출자·출연기관 소속 노동자 182명이다.
