이날 행사에는 손병복 울진군수를 비롯한 군의원, 지역 청년 단체장및 청년정책위원회 위원들이 참석하여 군에 처음 문을 연‘청년소통 공간’의 출발을 축하했다.

울진청년일자리센터는‘경상북도 청년행복 뉴딜프로젝트’공모사업을 통해 확보한 2억의 예산으로 구(舊)보훈회관을 리모델링하여 상담실,학습실, 세미나실 등을 갖추고 지역 청년들이 자유롭게 이용할 수 있는 청년 소통 거점 공간으로 출발한다.
