‘파리나무십자가 소년합창단’이 크리스마스 시즌을 맞이해 오는 12월 15일 군포문화예술회관 수리홀에서 공연한다.
프랑스를 대표하는 문화사절단인 파리나무십자가 소년합창단은 세계 3대 소년합창단 중 하나로 1907년 창단 이래 110년 이상의 역사와 전통을 자랑하며, 교황 비오 12세로부터 부여받은 ‘평화의 사도’라는 별칭에 걸맞게 전 세계를 누비며 음악을 통한 사랑과 희망, 평화 메시지를 전하고 있다.

올해 내한공연은 ‘사랑과 희망’을 부제로 24명의 합창단원의 순수 아카펠라와 피아노 선율이 함께하는 합창곡으로 진행된다. 공연 1부는 성가곡‘주님의 겸손을 보라’를 시작으로 프랑스 샹송가수 아즈나부르‘세상끝까지 데려가줘’와 자끄 브렐‘사랑만 있다면’, 폴 라미로‘뱃사공’ 등 여러 현대 프랑스 명곡으로 진행된다.
2부는 슈베르트‘아베마리아’와 비발디‘글로리아’ 같은 거장의 곡과 ‘잠자는 아기예수’,‘고요한 밤 거룩한 밤’등 캐롤 및 한국 곡까지 다양한 레퍼토리로 감동을 선사할 예정이다.

The Paris Wooden Cross Boys' Choir, a cultural mission representing France, is one of the world's top three boys' choirs and boasts more than 110 years of history and tradition since its founding in 1907, befitting the nickname 'Apostle of Peace' bestowed by Pope Pius XII. Traveling around the world, spreading messages of love, hope, and peace through music.
This year’s performance in Korea will be a pure a cappella performance by 24 choir members with the subtitle ‘Love and Hope’ and a choral piece accompanied by a piano melody. The first part of the performance begins with the hymn ‘Behold the Humility of the Lord’ and continues with several modern French masterpieces, including French chansonist Aznavour’s ‘Take Me to the End of the World’, Jacques Brel’s ‘If Only Love’, and Paul Ramiro’s ‘The Boatman’.
