파주시노인주야간보호협회(회장 최창화)가 정기총회를 열고 그 자리에서 ‘파주시재가노인복지시설협회’ 창립했다.

지난12월 12일 파주시 중앙도서관 5층에서는 최창화 회장을 비롯해 이용욱 도의원, 협회 고문, 전현정 노인장애인과 과장, 기관회원, 관계자 등 100여 명이 참여한 가운데 2023 정기총회 및 창립총회가 개최됐다.
이 자리에서 협회는 노인복지시설 종사자 업무 유공자들에게 파주시장표창, 국회의원표창, 시의장표창을 수여하고 격려했다.

최창화 회장은 ″저희 협회는 관내 노인주야간보호센터들이 친목을 다지고 어르신 케어기술 발전에 노력하는 등 회원들의 고충을 해결하는데 최선을 다하고 있다″며 ″이에 더해 오늘부터는 협회가 한걸음 더 나아가기 위해 파주시재가노인복지시설협회를 새롭게 발족한다“며 ”앞으로 협회는 120여 개의 방문요양센터와 50여 개의 주간보호샌터의 전체 목소리를 대변할 것″이라고 말했다.[파주=박정호 기자]
