파주소방서는 관내 공동주택 거주민의 겨울철 화재예방과 효율적인 대피를 위해 지난 11일 관내 한울마을 2단지 아파트를 찾아 현장안전 합동 컨설팅을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
이번 컨설팅은 최근 공동주택 화재로 인한 인명피해 사고가 반복됨에 따라 위험요인을 사전에 제거하여 대형화재 및 안전사고를 예방하고 인명피해 제로화를 위해 마련되었다.

이날 오후석 경기도 행정2부지사와 김진기 파주 부시장, 이상태 파주소방서장을 비롯해 경기도, 파주시, 소방서 및 건물 관계자들이 컨설팅을 참여했으며 ▲소방시설 및 피난·방화시설 유지관리 실태 확인 ▲화재 등 재난 상황 대처 중요성 강조 ▲피난계단, 경량칸막이 등 세대 내 대피 공간에 물건 적치 금지 ▲방화문 및 방화셔텨 점검 등을 중점적으로 확인했다.
오후석 행정2부지사는 “안전한 소방 환경 조성을 위해 파주소방서와 파주시, 관계자들의 지속적인 관심과 철저한 대비를 통해 화재예방에 노력해줄 것”을당부했다.
이상태 파주소방서장은 “공동주택은 구조적·환경적 특성 상 화재발생 시 피난이 쉽지 않아 인명피해의 우려가 크다”며, “아파트에 거주하는 국민이 많은 만큼 안전한 주거 환경을 만드는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.[파주=박정호 기자]
