고양특례시가 글로벌 한류 콘텐츠와 공연 거점 도시 조성의 일환으로 고양종합운동장 대관 공모사업 설명회를 개최했다고 23일 밝혔다.
2024년 신규 사업인 고양종합운동장 대관 공모 사업은 대형 콘서트, 페스티벌 등 우수한 공연을 고양시로 유치하기 위한 사업이다.
22일 고양종합운동장 프레스룸에서 진행된 이번 설명회에는 유력 공연 기획사와 운영사, 방송사, 연예 기획사, 관련 협·단체 등 18개사 50명의 관계자가 참석하는 등 업계의 뜨거운 관심과 가능성을 입증했다.

참가자들은 사업 소개와 제공 혜택 등 공모 사업에 대한 설명을 청취했으며, 고양종합운동장을 중심으로 한 대형 공연 개최와 이를 통한 기대 효과에 대해 다양한 의견을 개진했다.
이어서 고양종합운동장 및 다양한 부속 시설을 돌아보며 고양시 공연 인프라의 잠재력을 직접 체험했다.
설명회에 참석한 한 관계자는 “케이팝과 공연업계가 그야말로 대관전쟁을 겪고 있는 시기에 고양시의 공모 사업은 시의적절하다고 본다”라며, “고양시에서 좋은 공연을 개최해볼 수 있도록 잘 준비해보겠다”라고 말했다.
