[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 올해 42억원을 투입해 개발제한구역 주민생활 불편을 해소하고 시민 여가공간을 제공한다고 20일 밝혔다.
주요 사업은 대동 시례저수지 누리길 조성과 진영 사산마을회관 신축, 농로 및 용배수로 정비 등이다.
특히 주민지원사업 조기 발주를 위해 행정절차를 사전 이행해 생활기반시설 실시설계용역을 완료하는 등 조기 사업 추진으로 지역 경제 활성화에 기여한다.
김해시는 2001년부터 개발제한구역 특별법에 따라 개발제한구역 내 거주 주민의 쾌적한 생활환경 조성과 보전가치 증진을 위한 주민지원사업을 이어오고 있다.
지금까지 290개소에 545억원을 투입해 마을회관과 공동창고 건립, 마을주차장과 소공원 조성, 농로와 용배수로 정비 등 기반시설을 확충했다.
또 장유 대청계곡, 진영 서천저수지, 진례 신안저수지, 신어산 등에 누리길을 조성해 개발제한구역의 뛰어난 자연환경을 만끽하며 힐링할 수 있는 산책로를 조성했다.
이밖에 낙동강 둔치, 대청 여가녹지 공간을 조성해 많은 시민들이 일상 속 휴식을 즐길 수 있는 장소로 자리매김했다.
김해시 관계자는 “개발제한구역 균형발전을 위해 다양한 사업 발굴을 독려해 올해 3월에 신청하는 2025년 주민지원사업도 차질 없이 추진하겠다”며 “기반시설 정비로 주민들의 생활 불편을 해소하고 자연친화적인 누리길, 여가공간 조성으로 녹색 휴양공간을 확충해 시민들에게 풍부한 여가문화 서비스를 제공하겠다”고 밝혔다.
