고양소방서 어르신 돌봄 특별의용소방대는 지난 26일 원흥 12단지 경로당 어르신 40여 명을 대상으로 찾아가는 소방 안전 인형극을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
이날 교육은 인형극을 통한 화재 발생 시 대피요령 및 어르신들이 좋아하는 노래와 율동으로 소방안전교육, 심폐소생술교육을 진행했다.

소방 안전 인형극은 화재에 취약한 어르신들에게 인형극을 통해 행동요령을 익힐수 있도록 하기 위해 운영하고 있으며, 고양시 덕양구 경로당 어르신을 대상으로 12월까지 운영할 계획이다.
정귀용서장은 “어르신들의 눈높이에 맞춘 인형극을 통해 어르신이 화재의 위험성을 인지하고 자신을 보호하며 대처하는 방법을 자연스럽게 배우는 계기가 됐으면 한다”고 말했다.[고양=박정호 기자]
