당진시, 생활권 단위 로컬브랜딩 지원사업 ’선정'

충남 당진시가 행정안전부 ‘생활권 단위 로컬브랜딩 활성화 지원 사업’ 공모에 최종 선정되어, 국비 13억 원을 포함한 총사업비 26억 원을 확보했다고 밝혔다.

‘생활권 단위 로컬 브랜딩 활성화 지원 사업’은 지역 고유자원과 생활양식을 바탕으로 주민은 살고 싶고, 방문객은 찾고 싶은 생활권을 만드는 사업이다. 전국에서 당진시를 포함해 총 10개 지자체가 선정되었으며, 충청권에서는 당진시가 유일하다.

주민 기초 생활 인프라 조성을 위해 안심 보행존, 쇠내골 경관 자원화 등을 추진하고, 청년창업점포를 만들어 신평시장을 청년 창업 공간으로 활성화하려 한다.

충남사회혁신센터, 세한대학교, 신평초등학교 등이 지원조직으로 참여해 사업에 힘을 보태기로 했다.
