임상시험 검체 분석기관 지씨씨엘(GCCL, 대표이사 양송현)이 8월 26일 경성대학교(이하 경성대)와 학술연구 분야 및 임상연구 협력 등에 대한 상호협력 협약(Memorandum of Understanding, MOU)을 체결했다고 8월 27일 밝혔다.
지씨씨엘에 따르면 경성대학교 9호관 약과학관에서 진행된 이날 협약식에서는 경성대 생명보건대학 강재선 학장과 송일대 교수, 지씨씨엘 양송현 대표, 강정훈 사업개발본부장, 임현진 PM본부장 등 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 진행되었다.
업무협약 주요 내용은 ▲ 학술연구 및 임상연구, ▲ 정부과제 기획 및 검사 분석 수행, ▲ 공동 연구과제 수행을 위한 상호 인력교류, ▲ 공동 협력 사업 추진 및 홍보 마케팅 등이다. 특히 경성대학교의 일본 임상시험 연구자 네트워크를 통해 일본 임상시험 프로젝트 수행 역량도 강화할 계획이다.
두 기관은 실무협의회를 운영하며 학술연구 및 임상연구 등 상호 교류와 발전에 힘쓸 계획이다. 지씨씨엘은 경성대 생명보건대학 교수진과 협력해 정부 공동과제 및 학술·임상 연구를 기획하며, 관련 과제에 대한 임상 검체 분석, 운송 및 프로젝트 관리 등을 수행할 예정이다.
이번 협약식에서도 공동 연구과제 및 임상 검체 분석 등에 대한 구체적인 협력 방안에 대해 논의했으며, 두 기관은 지속적인 연계를 통해 협약 내용 이외에도 필요한 사항을 협의하여 협력을 확대할 계획이다.
