골프존이 오는 9월 2일 대전에서 ‘2024 올리지오 지투어 믹스드컵(GTOUR Mixed Cup)’ 대회를 개최한다.
G-투어를 대표하는 남녀 올스타 스크린골프 대전인 이번 믹스드컵은 올 시즌 두 번째로 펼쳐진다. 총 상금 7000만 원 규모로 80명의 프로 선수가 나서 기량을 겨룬다.
주식회사 골프존(각자대표이사 박강수·최덕형)은 9월 2일 대전 골프존 조이마루에서 ‘2024 올리지오 GTOUR MIXED CUP’을 개최한다고 8월 29일 밝혔다. 이번 대회에는 스크린골프 투어인 G-투어에서 활약하는 80명의 남녀 프로들이 참여하며, 올 시즌 두 번째로 열리는 혼성 스크린골프 투어다. 대회 메인 스폰서는 국내산 고주파 리프팅 장비 올리지오의 제조사 원텍 주식회사가 맡았다.
대회는 컷오프 없이 2라운드 36홀 스트로크 방식으로 진행된다. 남자는 백 티, 여자는 프론트 티로 남녀 간 티 박스 차이를 제외한 대회 설정은 G-투어 정규대회와 동일하게 치러지며 진행 코스는 당일 공개할 예정이다. 경기 종료 후 시상식을 통해 참여 선수 모두에게 순위 별로 상금을 나눠 지급한다.
그런 만큼 우승 자리를 놓고 펼쳐질 남녀 프로들의 각축전과 케미스트리가 관전 포인트다. 1라운드는 경기 당일 12시 30분부터 스크린골프존과 네이버·다음 스포츠, 유튜브 골프존 채널을 통해 생중계되며, 최종 라운드는 17시부터 JTBC골프 채널에서 추가로 생중계될 예정이다.
올해 정규투어 5차 대회 결선까지 결과를 바탕으로 남녀 각각 대상 포인트 상위 30명, 신인상 포인트 상위 10명, 추천선수 10명씩 총 80명이 출전한다.
대회 우승자에게는 상금 1500만 원을 지급한다. KPGA 투어프로 중 1, 2라운드 합산 1위 선수에게는 골프존-도레이오픈 결선 진출권 특전을 부여한다. 단 동타일 경우 서든데스 방식 연장전을 통해 최종 진출자를 결정한다.
남자부는 매 대회 다양한 우승자들이 배출되고 있는데 G-투어 남자 최다승의 김홍택, 12승 타이틀을 가진 김민수와 최민욱, 골프존-도레이 오픈 진출권을 얻은 하기원 등의 샷 대결이 주목된다. 여자부는 심지연 체제가 이어지는 가운데 실력과 엔터능력을 갖춘 한지민, 장타 승부수의 조예진, 문서형의 대결이 기대된다. 또한 2024 시즌에는 남녀 루키들의 활약이 도드라졌던 만큼 송윤아·황연서·양효리 등 신인선수들의 활약도 눈여겨볼 만하다.
이번 대회 메인 스폰서로는 원텍㈜ 올리지오가 참여했다. 대회 현장에는 갤러리를 위한 다양한 이벤트를 준비해 G-투어를 대표하는 남녀 프로 선수들의 샷 대결을 생생하게 감상하는 기회가 될 것으로 보인다.
Golfzone Presents the 2024 Olympia G-Tour Mixed Cup

GolfZone will host the '2024 Oligio GTOUR Mixed Cup' on Sept. 2 in Daejeon, South Korea.
The Mixed Cup, an all-star men's and women's screen golf competition representing the G-Tour, will be held for the second time this season. With a total prize pool of 70 million won, 80 professional players will compete.
Golf Zone (CEOs Park Kang-soo and Choi Deok-hyung) announced on August 29 that it will host the '2024 OLIGO GTOUR MIXED CUP' on September 2 at Golf Zone Joymaru in Daejeon. The tournament will feature 80 male and female professionals from the G-Tour, a screen golf tour, and is the second mixed screen golf tour to be held this season. The main sponsor of the tournament is WonTech, the maker of the domestic high-frequency lifting equipment Oligio.
The tournament will be a two-round, 36-hole stroke play event with no cut-off. The tournament setup will be the same as the G-Tour regular tournament except for the difference in tee boxes between men and women, with the back tees for men and the front tees for women, and the course will be revealed on the day. At the end of the tournament, an awards ceremony will be held to distribute prize money to all participating players according to their ranking.
As such, the main focus will be on the chemistry between the male and female pros as they battle for the top spot. The first round will be broadcast live on Screen Golf Zone, Naver Daum Sports, and YouTube Golf Zone channels from 12:30 on the day of the tournament, and the final round will be broadcast on JTBC Golf Channel from 17:00.
A total of 80 players will compete in the tournament, including the top 30 men and women in the grand prize points, the top 10 rookie points, and 10 recommended players based on the results of the fifth tournament of this year's regular tour.
The winner of the tournament will receive 15 million won in prize money. KPGA Tour professionals who are ranked first in the first and second rounds will be granted the privilege of advancing to the final round of the Golf Zone-Dorei Open. However, in the event of a tie, the finalists will be decided through a sudden-death overtime.
The men's event has produced a variety of winners, including the G-Tour's all-time wins leader Kim Hong-taek, 12-time winners Kim Min-soo and Choi Min-wook, and Hagi Won, who qualified for the Golf Zone-Dorei Open. On the women's side, the deep field is set to feature the talented and entertaining Han Ji-min, the long-hitting Cho Ye-jin, and Doo-hyung Moon. The 2024 season also saw the rise of rookies in both the men's and women's ranks, so it will be interesting to see the performance of rookies such as Song Yoon-ah, Hwang Yeon-seo, and Yang Hyo-ri.
The main sponsor of the tournament was WonTech's Oligio. Various events for the gallery were organized at the tournament site, providing an opportunity to watch the shot competition between male and female professional players representing the G-Tour.
