[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 ‘2024년 청년친화헌정대상’ 우수 기초자치단체 부문 ‘종합대상’의 영예를 안았다고 9일 밝혔다.
청년친화헌정대상은 국회사무처 소관 사단법인 '청년과미래'에서 주관하며정책, 입법, 지원, 소통 분야 청년 친화도시를 평가하는, 청년친화지수를 기준으로 심사한다. 올해는 특히 청년참여기구 운영과 청년지원사업 그리고 청년 관련 행사 주최와 참여를 중점으로 심사가 진행됐다.
도내 유일 5년 연속 수상이자 부산·울산·경남 유일 종합대상 4년 수상으로 김해시가 전국 최고의 청년친화도시임을 다시 한번 입증한 셈이다.
김해시는 청년 지원을 시 주류 정책으로 추진하고자 지난 7월 조직 개편에서 청년정책 전담 부서를 신설했으며, 보다 종합적이고 체계적인 청년 정책을 위해 청년정책 중장기 추진계획을 수립하고 있다.
올해는 19개 부서가 3개 분야, 90개 사업에 총 339억 원을 투입하고 있으며, 청년 자립기반 확보와 주거비 부담 완화을 위해 ▲자격증 응시료 지원 사업 ▲모다드림청년통장 지원 ▲청년 월세 지원 ▲신혼부부 전세자금·주택구입 대출이자 지원 등을 추진하고 있다.
또 청년 자립역량 강화 및 커뮤니티 활성화를 위해 ▲청년활동복합공간인 Station-G 조성 및 확대 ▲김해청년센터다옴 운영 ▲청년 주도 웹툰 페스티벌 개최 등을 하고 있다.
청년 일자리 기반 마련을 위해 ▲청년인재-주력산업 동반성장 일자리사업 ▲사회가치경영(ESG)혁신기업 청년인재 양성사업 ▲청년창업 테스트베드 사업 ▲청년이주정착 지원 사업 등을 추진하고 있다.
