진주시, 중대재해 예방을 위한 위험성 평가 실시

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 오는 11월까지 시 소속 62개 부서 82개 사업장을 대상으로 중대재해 예방을 위한 ‘위험성 평가’를 실시한다고 24일 밝혔다.

이번 평가는 산업안전보건법에 따라 각 사업장 내 유해·위험 요인을 사전에 파악해 개선 대책을 수립해 근로자의 안전을 확보하고 중대재해를 예방하기 위해서다.

이번 위험성 평가는 각 부서의 실정에 맞는 개선 방안을 도출하기 위해 외부 전문가의 컨설팅과 병행할 예정이다.

또 시는 현장 근로자와 담당자의 의견을 청취해 잠재적 위험 요소를 발견하고, 안전 교육의 필요 여부를 확인하는 등 실질적인 안전 조치를 이행할 계획이다.

진주시 관계자는 “이번 위험성 평가를 통해 중대재해 예방에 대한 인식을 높이고, 보다 안전한 근무 환경을 조성하기 위해 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
