[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 조규일 진주시장은 2일 오는 5일 개막하는 ‘진주남강유등축제’ 등 10월 축제가 진행되는 진주성과 남강변 일원 축제장을 최종 현장 점검했다고 밝혔다.
이날 조규일 시장은 10월 축제 관계자와 국·소장 등 20여 명이 함께 행사장을 돌며 각종 시설물 설치, 행사장 공간 배치, 관람동선, 방역, 환경 관리 등 전 분야에 걸쳐 추진상황을 점검했다.
또 조 시장은 축제 기간 가장 많은 인파가 몰리는 드론쇼가 펼쳐질 5일에 대비해 초혼점등식장인 망경동 수상특설무대, 부교, 김시민호 선착장물빛나루쉼터 등의 안전성에 대해 꼼꼼한 현장점검을 벌였다.
