[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 민주평화통일자문회의 김해시협의회와 김해시 등 유관기관, 시민사회단체가 함께한 2024 김해 평화통일 시민 대화가 26일 오후 롯데호텔앤리조트김해 가야홀에서 개최됐다.

민주평통 김해시협의회는 평화통일 시민 대화 개최를 기념해 도자기 홍보, 장군차 시음, 히타이트전, 고향사랑기부제 홍보 등 통일 기원 부대행사를 마련했다.

김해의 통일공감대 추진과제를 발굴 확산하기 위한 이날 시민 대화는 김해시민, 시민사회단체 회원, 민주평통 자문위원, 북한이탈주민 등 160여명이 참석해 공론의 장을 펼쳤다.

통일공감대 형성을 주제로 제시된 13가지 추진 과제를 조별 토론 후 발표하는 시간을 가졌고, 발표를 마친 참가자들은 1인 3표씩 QR코드 투표를 통해 ‘통김치(우리 모두 함께하는 김장 담그기 행사)’를 가장 우수한 제안으로 선정했다.

통김치는 북한이탈주민뿐만 아니라 지역 내 다문화 가정도 함께 참여하는 김장 담그기 행사를 통해 상호 교류하며 협력하고자 하는 사업이다.

채택된 과제는 시민들과 함께 지속적으로 실천해 지역 통일공감대 확산에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

홍태용 김해시장은 “시민 대화를 통해서 김해시의 평화통일 과제에 대한 시민들의 열정이 많이 느껴졌고 많은 아이디어가 공유되는 뜻깊은 자리 였다”며 “최종 선정된 통일공감대 우수 제안은 앞으로 시민들과 함께 지속적으로 실천할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

The 2024 Gimhae Peace Unification Citizens' Dialogue, which was held in collaboration with the Gimhae City Council of the Democratic Peace Unification Advisory Council, Gimhae City, and other related organizations and civil society groups, was held on the afternoon of the 26th at the Lotte Hotel & Resort Gimhae Gaya Hall.

To commemorate the holding of the Peace Unification Citizens' Dialogue, the Gimhae City Council of the Democratic Peace Unification Advisory Council prepared side events to pray for unification, such as ceramics promotion, general tea tasting, Hittite exhibition, and hometown love donation promotion.

The citizens' dialogue held that day, which was intended to discover and spread the unification consensus promotion tasks of Gimhae, was attended by approximately 160 people, including Gimhae citizens, members of civil society groups, Democratic Peace Unification Advisory Council members, and North Korean defectors, and provided a forum for public discussion.

Tong Kimchi is a project that aims to mutually interact and cooperate through a kimchi making event in which not only North Korean defectors but also multicultural families in the region participate.
