김해시 저소득층 반려동물 진료비 지원사업 추진

[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 저소득층 반려동물 진료비 지원사업을 추진한다고 13일 밝혔다.

지원 대상은 국민기초생활보장법에 따른 수급자, 차상위계층, 한부모가족 중에서 반려동물을 기르는 시민과 장애인 보조견 소유자이며 내장형 무선전자개체식별장치 시술 반려 동물에 한해 가구당 동물병원 진료비 24만원 기준 12만원까지 지원하고 나머지는 자부담이다.

이번 사업은 김해시 관내 동물병원에서 진료받은 건에 한한다.

지원이 가능한 진료 범위는 예방접종을 포함한 동물의 질병을 예방하는 행위, 통상적인 동물의 진료 및 수술이며 미용, 사료를 포함한 용품 구입 비용은 지원이 불가하다.

신청 희망 가구는 지원 대상인지 확인 후 관할 행정복지센터에 신청서 청구서 결제 영수증을 일괄 제출하면 되고 지원금은 대상자 조사 등 확인 과정을 거쳐 신청한 달의 다음 달 지급하며 예산 소진 시까지 선착순 지원한다.
