세종시교육청이 늘봄학교의 안전한 환경 구축을 위해 다양한 지원 방안을 마련했다고 밝혔다.
이번 계획은 학생들의 안전한 귀가와 안전 관리 강화를 목표로 하고 있다.
최교진 교육감은 17일 오전 '세종형 늘봄학교 운영 계획'에 대한 기자회견을 개최하고, 세종시교육청은 귀가 안전 관리 강화 ,안전 관련 시설 확충 ,학생 소재 확인 시스템 활용 ,지역 협력 체계 구축 등을 통해 늘봄학교의 안전관리를 강화할 예정이라고 밝혔다.
특히, 늘봄학교에 참여하는 학생들의 안전한 귀가를 지원하기 위해 귀가 인력을 추가 배치하고, 16시 이후 돌봄 관련 인력을 최소 2명 이상 배치하여 학생들을 인계지점까지 인솔하고 보호자 또는 대리인에게 직접 인계할 계획이다.
또한, 늘봄전용교실 내 인터폰과 비상벨을 확대 설치하여 긴급 상황에 신속하게 대응할 수 있도록 하고, 복도, 계단, 늘봄 교실 주변, 체육관 등에 CCTV를 추가 설치하여 안전 사각지대를 없애겠다고 밝혔다.
세종시교육청은 또 학생 소재 확인 시스템인 '안심알리미 서비스'는 2024년에는 초1 전체와 초2 돌봄 학생들에게 지원되었던 것을 2025년에는 초1~3 전체 학생에게 전면 확대 운영하여 등하교 상황을 학부모에게 실시간으로 안내할 예정이다.

더불어, 초2까지 확대된 늘봄학교가 원활하게 운영될 수 있도록 14억 원의 예산을 확보하여 환경 구축에 적극 지원할 예정이다.
