[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 국지도 60호선 생림~상동 잔여 구간인 상동교차로~대포교차로(2.4km) 내달 중순 개통으로 전 구간이 완전 개통된다고 25일 밝혔다.

경남도에서 추진 중인 국지도 60호선 생림~상동 구간은 2,165억원을 투입해 총구간 8.56km, 4차로를 건설하는 사업으로 2008년 착공해 약 17년간 이어져 왔다.

생림~상동 전 구간이 개통되면 국도 58호선에서 상동 방면 시도 8호선의 혼잡 문제를 해결하고 주변 공장 물류 이동에 큰 보탬이 될 것으로 기대된다.

또 오는 9월 국도 60호선 매리~양산 구간 중 낙동강 횡단 교량 연결이 완료돼 부분 개통되면 양산 등 주변 도시로의 접근성이 향상될 전망이다.

김해시 관계자는 “생림~상동 국지도 60호선 개통으로 생림면과 상동면을 오가는 교통환경이 크게 개설될 것”이라며 “연계 추진 중으로 내년 말 완료 예정의 국지도 60호선 한림~생림, 매리~양산, 국지도 69호선 대동~매리 도로 건설이 완료되면 창원·밀양에서부터 양산·부산까지 이어지는 주요 도로망으로 자리매김할 것”이라고 말했다.
