군포의왕교육지원청, ‘2025 군포의왕청소년교육의회’ 개회식 개최

군포의왕교육지원청(교육장 성정현)이 지난 5월 9일 ‘2025 군포의왕청소년교육의회’ 개회식을 개최했다.

군포의왕청소년교육의회는 군포의왕 지역 초·중·고에 재학 중인 학생 39명이 의원으로 구성돼 △지역사회 현안과 문제점 탐색 △상임위원회별 사회참여 프로젝트 운영 △주민참여예산제 의견 제안 △정책 제안서 작성 및 발표 등의 의회 활동을 할 예정이다.

청소년이 권리의 주체로서 교육 정책에 참여하고 사회참여를 실천하고자 구성된 군포의왕청소년교육의회는 의장단을 선출하고, 인성·자율, 생태·환경, 인권·평화, 문화·예술, 교육·진로의 상임위원회를 구성해 16시간 동안 운영된다.

군포의왕교육지원청 성정현 교육장은 축사에서 “군포의왕청소년교육의회 학생들이 우리 지역에 대해 관심을 갖고 청소년과 시민을 위한 다양한 정책을 제안한다면 군포의왕에 대한 자긍심을 기르고 시민역량을 함양하여 민주 시민으로서 성장할 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.

Gunpo Uiwang Office of Education (Superintendent Seong Jeong-hyeon) held the ‘2025 Gunpo Uiwang Youth Education Council’ Opening Ceremony on May 9.

The Gunpo Uiwang Youth Education Council is comprised of 39 students attending elementary, middle, and high schools in the Gunpo Uiwang area, and will engage in council activities such as ▲exploring local community issues and problems, ▲operating social participation projects by standing committee, ▲proposing opinions on the resident participation budget system, and ▲writing and presenting policy proposals. The Gunpo Uiwang Youth Education Council, which was formed to enable youth to participate in education policies as subjects of rights and practice social participation, elects a chairperson and establishes standing committees for character and autonomy, ecology and environment, human rights and peace, culture and arts, and education and career paths, and operates for 16 hours. In his congratulatory address, Gunpo Uiwang Education Support Office Superintendent Seong Jeong-hyeon said, “If students of the Gunpo Uiwang Youth Education Council take an interest in our region and propose various policies for youth and citizens, I expect that it will be a good opportunity to foster pride in Gunpo Uiwang, cultivate civic capabilities, and grow as democratic citizens.”
