(재)의왕시청소년재단(이사장 김성제)이 지난 5월 24일 왕송호수공원에서 제3회 의왕Youth Festa ‘오아시스(Oasis)’를 개최했다. 이날 행사에는 4,000여명의 시민과 청소년이 참가해 성황을 이뤘다.
이번 행사는 올해로 3회째를 맞이해 청소년 체험 부스, 청소년 종합 예술제의 사물놀이 및 댄스 경연, 청소년의 날 기념식, 인기 가수들의 축하공연 등이 다채롭게 펼쳐졌다.
특히 의왕시 중고등학교와 대학교를 대표한 청소년들이 마련한 흥미로운 체험 부스가 관람객들에게 큰 호응을 얻었고, 현장에 마련된 푸드트럭과 피크닉존도 방문객들로 북적였다.
청소년의 날 기념식에서는 LED 퍼포먼스를 통해 내빈들과 함께 청소년의 날의 의미를 되새기겼으며, 비오, 이짜나언짜나, 정마필 등 인기 가수의 축하공연으로 방문객들에게 특별한 즐거움을 선사했다.

청소년의 날을 기념해 이번 행사에는 많은 지역사회 기관들이 참여했다. 의왕시 지역사회보장협의체는 체험부스를 운영햇다. 롯데프리미엄 아울렛 의왕점은 부스운영과 함께 푸드트럭을 후원했다. SK오앤에스는 음료 후원과 현장 플로깅을 함께했다.
전영남 의왕시청소년재단 대표이사는 “바쁜 5월 일정 속에서도 행사의 원활한 운영을 위해 협조해주신 학교, 청소년시설, 지역사회 유관기관에 감사드린다”며, “앞으로도 청소년이 행복한 도시를 만들어 가는데 의왕시청소년재단이 앞장서겠다”고 말했다.
김성제 의왕시장은 “오늘의 축제가 친구들과 잊지 못할 추억을 쌓는 소중한 시간이 됐기를 바란다”며, “앞으로도 청소년들이 꿈과 재능, 끼를 마음껏 발휘할 수 있도록 청소년 지원 활동에 더 많은 관심을 기울이겠다”고 말했다.

This event, now in its 3rd year, featured a variety of activities, including youth experience booths, a samulnori and dance competition at the Youth Comprehensive Arts Festival, a Youth Day commemoration ceremony, and congratulatory performances by popular singers.
In particular, the interesting experience booths prepared by youth representing Uiwang City’s middle and high schools and universities were very popular with visitors, and the food trucks and picnic zones set up on site were also crowded with visitors.
