조사항목은 △일에 관한 사항 △미취업 및 구직 관련 사항 △희망 일자리 △직업교육훈련 △취업지원정책 △가장 오래 근무한 일자리 △경력단절 여성 등 총 8개로 구성됐다. 조사는 현장 면접조사와 자기기입(응답자가 직접 작성) 방식으로 진행된다.

가평군은 이번 조사를 위해 총 21명의 조사요원을 모집한 데 이어, 이들을대상으로 조사방법 및 안전수칙 등 교육을 실시해 원활한조사가 진행되도록 했다.
