[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시는 오는 9월 26일부터 28일까지 삼락생태공원에서 열리는 ‘2025 부산국제록페스티벌(Busan International Rock Festival)’의 2차 출연진 18팀을 공개했다.
이번 라인업에는 1990년대 브릿팝을 대표하는 전설의 밴드 '스웨이드(Suede)'를 비롯해, 독창적인 음악 세계로 한국 팬들의 사랑을 받아온 미카(MIKA), 국내 대표 록 밴드 자우림(Jaurim), 부산 출신 정용화가 소속된 씨앤블루(CNBLUE) 등 국내외 정상급 아티스트가 포함됐다.
특히 스웨이드는 블러(Blur), 오아시스(Oasis), 펄프(Pulp)와 함께 브릿팝 전성기를 이끈 주역으로, 이번 페스티벌의 헤드라이너로 무대에 오른다. 미카(MIKA)는 이번이 첫 부산 페스티벌 무대다. 여기에 일본 신예 밴드 무쿠(MUKU)도 참여해 이목을 끌고 있다.
이외에도 데뷔 28주년을 맞은 자우림(Jaurim), 예능과 공연을 넘나들며 인기몰이 중인 이승윤(Lee Seung Yoon), 글로벌 투어 중인 엑스디너리 히어로즈(Xdinary Heroes)가 무대에 오르며, 최근 완전체로 복귀한 와이투케이(Y2K)와 역주행 히트곡 ‘Drowning(드로우닝)’으로 주목받는 우즈(WOODZ)도 출연할 예정이다.
사전 행사도 풍성하다. 전국을 돌며 페스티벌 열기를 전하는 ‘로드 투 부락(Road to BU-ROCK)’이 오는 6월 21~22일 서울에서 열린다. 일본 밴드 스파이에어(SPYAIR)가 다시 한 번 한국 무대에 오른다.
신진 아티스트 발굴 프로그램인 ‘루키즈 온 더 부락(Rookies on the BU-ROCK)’은 7월 2일까지 참가자를 모집 중이다. 우승팀에게는 상금은 물론, 부산국제록페스티벌 무대와 해외 페스티벌 참여 기회가 주어진다.
한편, 지난 18일부터는 2차 얼리버드 티켓 판매가 예스24(ticket.yes24.com)에서 시작됐다. 1일권부터 3일권까지 모두 정가 대비 10% 할인된 가격으로 구매할 수 있다.

The City of Busan (Mayor Park Heong-joon) has announced the second lineup of 18 artists for the 2025 Busan International Rock Festival, set to take place from September 26 to 28 at Samnak Ecological Park.
Headlining the festival is legendary Britpop band Suede, known for leading the genre’s golden era alongside Blur, Oasis, and Pulp. Also joining the lineup are MIKA, the British singer-songwriter of Lebanese origin beloved by Korean fans, and Korean rock icons Jaurim and CNBLUE, the latter featuring Busan-born vocalist Jung Yong-hwa.
The lineup also includes rising Japanese band MUKU, acclaimed for their dreamy sound, and Korean acts such as Lee Seung Yoon, known for his crossover appeal in TV and live music, and Xdinary Heroes, currently on a world tour.
Notably, Y2K, who recently reunited in full lineup through a Korean-Japanese music show, will officially return to the stage at the festival. WOODZ, riding high on the resurgence of his hit “Drowning,” is also set to perform.
Ahead of the main festival, a series of teaser concerts titled Road to BU-ROCK will take place in Seoul on June 21 and 22, featuring Japanese rock band SPYAIR, who previously delivered high-energy performances at the 2023 and 2024 editions of the festival.
Meanwhile, the Rookies on the BU-ROCK competition is accepting applications through July 2, aiming to discover and support emerging talent. The winning act will receive prize money and performance opportunities at both the Busan festival and an overseas rock festival.
Second early bird tickets went on sale on June 18 via Yes24 (ticket.yes24.com), offering a 10% discount on 1-day, 2-day, and 3-day passes.
