[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] ‘제27회 부산광역시 장애인생활체육대축전’이 24일부터 30일까지 7일간 강서체육공원과 사직 론볼경기장 등 6개 경기장에서 개최된다.
이번 대회는 부산시가 후원하고 부산시장애인체육회가 주최·주관하며, 장애인의 생활체육 참여 확대와 심신 재활, 지역사회 내 화합을 도모하는 목적으로 매년 열리고 있다.
올해 대회에는 부산 16개 구·군에서 선발된 장애인 선수 674명을 비롯해 임원, 가족, 자원봉사자 등 약 2,826명이 참가해 총 3,500여 명이 함께한다. 참가자들은 이번 대회를 통해 그동안 갈고닦은 실력을 선보이며 서로의 기량을 겨루게 된다.
대회는 정식 종목 6개(게이트볼, 당구, 론볼 등)와 체험 종목 8개(보치아, 한궁, 후크볼 등)로 구성되어 총 14개 종목의 경기가 진행된다. 정식 종목과 일부 체험 종목의 입상자에게는 메달과 부상이 수여될 예정이다.
