[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시는 지역 내 소비 활성화를 위해 지역화폐 동백전 캐시백 확대 정책을 오는 8월까지 연장 추진한다고 밝혔다.
시는 내수 진작을 위해 올해 1월부터 6월까지 동백전 ▲캐시백 한도금액을 월 30만 원에서 50만 원 ▲캐시백율을 5퍼센트(%)에서 최대 7퍼센트(%)로 확대해 환급 정책을 추진했다.
올해 1~5월의 발행액은 총 약 6천813억 원, 사용액은 총 6천762억 원으로 전년도 1~5월 대비 발행액은 약 16.5퍼센트(%), 사용액은 16.9퍼센트(%)가 각각 증가해 지역내 소비 활성화를 촉진하며 지역경제에 활력을 불어넣은 것으로 나타났다.
시는 이러한 성과를 바탕으로 위축된 소비심리를 살리고자 정부 1차 추경 국비 예산을 반영해 동백전 캐시백 확대 정책을 오는 8월까지 연장 시행한다.
올해 8월까지 월 캐시백 적용 한도를 50만 원으로 유지하고, 캐시백율도 7퍼센트(%)(▲연 매출액 10억 원 이하 가맹점 7퍼센트(%) ▲10~30억 원 가맹점 5퍼센트(%) ▲30억 원 초과 가맹점 캐시백 미제공)로 지속 적용해 시민들과 소상공인의 혜택을 극대화할 계획이다.
