23일 부산시교육청은 자원봉사단 40여 명과 함께 산청군 수해 현장을 방문해 침수 주택 정리, 토사 제거, 생활폐기물 수거 등 복구 활동을 펼쳤다. 이번 봉사에는 교육청 지방공무원 자원봉사회 회원들과 자발적으로 참여한 직원들이 함께 힘을 모았다.
부산교육청은 이재민들을 위한 리어카 등 구호물품도 직접 전달하며 피해 주민들의 생활 회복을 도왔다. 산청군은 지난 3월 대형 산불로 큰 피해를 입은 데 이어 이번 폭우로 추가 피해가 발생한 이중고 지역으로, 도움의 손길이 절실한 상황이다.
