[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 박형준 부산시장이 8월 14일 정부서울청사에서 구윤철 경제부총리 및 기획재정부 핵심 관계자들을 만나 2026년도 정부 예산안에 부산시 주요 사업의 국비 반영을 공식 요청했다.
부산시는 이날 면담에서 가덕도 신공항 건설, 해수담수화 실증시설 조성, 에이지테크 실증거점 조성 등 지역 미래를 견인할 핵심 사업들을 건의하고, 정부의 관심과 지원을 촉구했다. 박 시장은 부산이 남부권 혁신성장의 중심 도시로 도약하기 위해서는 해당 사업들이 반드시 반영돼야 한다고 강조했다.
건의된 주요 사업은 ▲가덕도 신공항 건설(총사업비 15조 6,580억 원), ▲부산 해수담수화 실증시설 조성(총사업비 385억 원), ▲AX 기반 에이지테크 실증거점 조성(총사업비 300억 원) 등이다.
이와 함께 ▲장낙대교 건설(총사업비 1,750억 원), ▲부산형 광역급행철도(BuTX) 건설(총사업비 4조 7,700억 원), ▲도시철도 정관선 건설(총사업비 3,440억 원) 등 교통 인프라 확충 사업에 대한 국비 지원과 예비타당성 조사 통과를 요청했다.
또한 ▲초광대역통신 기반 무인 자율주행 모빌리티 기술개발 및 실증(총사업비 1,000억 원), ▲우주항공 지역혁신 기반 구축(총사업비 240억 원), ▲첨단재생의료 임상 실증지원 플랫폼 구축(총사업비 200억 원), ▲영상 생성 AI 스튜디오 조성(총사업비 480억 원) 등 미래 신산업 기반 조성 사업도 정부 협조 대상에 포함됐다.
박 시장은 “이번에 건의한 사업들은 부산의 글로벌 경쟁력을 높이고 시민 삶의 질을 향상시킬 필수 기반”이라며, “부산이 국가균형발전의 핵심 거점으로 성장하고, 남부권이 대한민국의 또 다른 성장축으로 자리매김할 수 있도록 국비 확보에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Busan Mayor Park Hyung-joon met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Koo Yun-cheol and other key officials at the Government Complex Seoul on August 14 to formally request national funding for major municipal projects to be included in South Korea’s 2026 national budget.
During the meeting, Mayor Park emphasized Busan’s role as a strategic growth hub for southern Korea and outlined a series of priority projects aimed at enhancing regional competitiveness and securing sustainable development.
