[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도가 지난 1일부터 3일까지 사흘 동안 사천, 김해, 밀양, 함양, 거창, 창녕 등 도내 6개 시군 9곳에서 도시재생 종합성과평가를 위한 광역평가 현장실사를 실시했다.
실사에는 국토교통부와 주택도시보증공사(HUG)가 참관했고, 경남도의 도시재생 분야 전문가 평가위원단도 참여해 사업 성과를 여러모로 점검했다.
국토교통부 주관 종합성과평가는 도시재생사업이 지역사회에 어떤 변화를 만들어 냈는지를 진단하고 향후 정책 방향을 마련하기 위해 매년 시행된다.
기초지자체가 자체평가 후 보고서를 제출하면 광역지자체가 서면 검토, 현장실사, 발표평가를 진행하고, 국토부가 최종 종합평가를 통해 경진대회와 연계하는 방식으로 운영된다.
이번 평가대상 전국 65개 사업지 가운데 경남은 9곳이 포함됐다.
경남 광역평가에는 LH토지주택연구원과 경남연구원 등 전문가 3명이 평가위원으로 참여해 사업 성과를 전문적으로 진단했으며, 국토부와 HUG 관계자들도 함께 현장을 살펴보며 평가의 공정성과 객관성을 더했다.
평가 항목은 도시재생사업 활성화계획 추진성과와 정책목표 연계성, 성과지표 변화와 사업 효과, 준공시설 운영관리, 후속관리와 파급효과 등이며, 주민 삶의 질 향상과 도시 활력, 일자리 창출, 공동체 회복 네 가지 분야가 중심이다.
현장실사는 1일 사천 대방길 일원과 창녕 청년센터에서 시작해 2일에는 밀양 해천루와 문화의 거리, 김해 장유와 삼방동 일원에서 진행됐다.
마지막 날인 3일에는 함양 인당센터와 한들거점센터, 거창 상동 아름드리숲골 어울림센터를 차례로 방문하면서 마무리됐다.
사업설명, 질의응답, 현장 확인을 통해 시설 운영 현황과 상권 활성화 효과, 주민 공동체 활동 성과 등이 집중적으로 검토됐으며, 이 과정에서 제기된 의견들은 평가보고서에 반영돼 보완될 예정이다.
