[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도가 11일 ‘2025 경남 글로벌 혁신 페스타’ 발대식 및 착수보고회를 갖고, 성공적인 행사 개최를 위한 준비에 본격 돌입했다.
이날 발대식에는 경남도, 지역대학 총장, 기업 대표, 지역혁신기관 대표들로 구성된 ‘글로벌 혁신 페스타 추진위원회’ 위원들과 경남인재평생교육진흥원 등 유관기관 관계자 30여 명이 참석했으며, RISE를 통해 전국 처음 시행하는 글로벌 대학 행사에 관심과 지원을 보내기로 했다.
착수보고회에서는 △행사 콘셉트·슬로건 △대학․기업홍보관 등 전시장·개별부스 전시계획 △공식행사와 콘퍼런스, 다양한 프로그램 운영 계획 △홍보계획·안전관리 등 행사 전반에 걸친 실행계획을 중점적으로 논의했다.
박명균 도 행정부지사는 “행사의 가장 큰 목적은 지역과 대학과 기업이 함께해 도내 대학의 실질적인 글로벌 경쟁력을 강화하고, 지역정주인재 양성을 양성하는 것이며, 글로벌 혁신 페스타를 통해 도내 대학의 경쟁력을 한 단계 높이고, 미래산업을 선도하는 플랫폼으로 행사를 발전시켜 나가겠다”라고 했다.
올해부터 RISE가 본격 추진됨에 따라 도는 대학별 성과공유회를 하나의 행사로 통합하고, 기업 네트워킹을 통한 대학생 취업 연계로 대학의 국제적 경쟁력을 확보하기 위해 ’2025 경남 글로벌 혁신 페스타 G-NEX’를 개최한다.
12월 1일부터 3일까지 창원컨벤션센터에서 열리며, ‘AI를 활용한 지역산업의 디지털 혁신’을 메인 주제로 지역과 대학이 지역산업과 연계한 다양한 디지털 혁신모델을 선보일 예정이다.
3일간 AI글로벌, 디지털전환, 한․중로봇을 주제로 혁신포럼을 개최하며, 로봇분야의 세계적 석학 데니스 홍, AI분야 권혁준교수, 변형균 이사, DX분야 LG전자, 구글클라우드 등이 참여할 예정이다.
‘피지컬 AI 1등 국가’ 정부 정책에 발맞춰 도는 제조분야 피지컬 AI 기술 개발과 실증에 나서고 있다. 지역대학과 함께 경남의 차세대 피지컬 AI 거점 육성과 미래 발전을 위한 활발한 논의가 이뤄질 것이다.
