최효숙 경기도의원, “경기도는 아동 돌봄 공공책임 강화해야”

경기도의회 여성가족평생교육위원회 최효숙 의원(더불어민주당, 비례)이 주최·좌장을 맡은 ‘경기도 다함께돌봄센터 운영지원 정책토론회’가 지난 9월 10일 경기도의회 대회의실에서 열렸다. 현장 종사자, 전문가, 학부모 등 200여 명이 참석해 아동 돌봄 정책의 발전 방향을 모색했다.

최효숙 의원은 개회 발언에서 “경기도는 전국 최대 아동 인구를 가진 지역으로서 돌봄과 복지의 공공책임을 선도해야 한다”며 “다함께돌봄센터가 초등 돌봄 사각지대 해소의 중심기관으로 자리매김할 수 있도록 다양한 현장 목소리를 정책에 반영하겠다”고 밝혔다.

기조발제를 맡은 윤혜미 충북대 명예교수는 “아동 권리 중심의 지역 연대와 통합적 돌봄 네트워크가 필요하다”며 초등 돌봄의 공공성 강화와 맞춤형 돌봄 모델 확대를 강조했다. 이어진 토론에서는 한성은 경기도 언제나돌봄팀장이 운영지원 방안을, 김은희 인천여성가족재단 연구위원이 발전 방향을 제시했으며, 박진숙 경기도협의회장은 아동돌봄공동체 확장의 필요성을, 조은혜 화성시 센터장은 종사자 배치 기준 현실화를 제안했다.

최효숙 의원은 “모든 아이가 차별 없이 질 높은 돌봄을 받을 수 있는 촘촘한 시스템 구축이 절실하다”며, “누군가의 도움이 필요한 아이들이 평등한 권리를 누릴 수 있도록 다함께돌봄센터 운영지원을 위해 든든한 동반자가 되겠다”고 말했다.
