【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=선린대학교(총장 곽진환) RISE사업단은 교육부와 경상북도의 지원을 받아 9월 24일부터 25일까지 경주 힐튼에서 ‘2025 RISE-UP 창업캠프’를 개최했다.

이번 창업캠프에는 재학생 20여 명이 참가해 1박 2일간 △아이디어 발상 △차별화 전략 수립 △네이밍·슬로건 작성 △타깃 고객 설정 △수익 구조 설계 △홍보·마케팅 전략 △비즈니스 모델 구체화 등 창업 전 단계를 직접 체험했다. 참가자들은 팀별 발표와 모의 펀딩을 통해 아이디어의 시장성 및 투자 가능성을 검증받는 기회도 가졌다.
최종 발표에서는 SunlinRISE팀의 ‘카테터 고정용 점착 밴드’가 대상을 수상했으며, 우수 아이디어를 제안한 팀은 향후 사업화 연계, 특허 출원 지원, 시제품 고도화 등 후속 지원을 받을 예정이다.
대상을 차지한 권나영 학생은 “짧은 기간이었지만 창업의 전 과정을 경험하며 아이디어를 실질적인 사업으로 발전시키는 방법을 배울 수 있었다”며, “특히 모의 펀딩을 통해 투자자의 시각에서 고민해 본 것이 가장 큰 배움이었다”고 소감을 전했다.
RISE사업단 한정안 단장은 “이번 캠프는 학생들의 창의적인 아이디어를 구체적인 사업화 모델로 발전시키는 계기였다”며, “앞으로도 RISE사업을 통해 지역 기반 창업 생태계를 활성화하고 청년 창업가 육성에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 선린대학교 RISE사업단은 ‘아이디어 창업밸리’를 중심으로 정주형 창업 지원과 다양한 창업 프로그램을 운영하며 대학 주도의 수요중심형 창업 생태계 구축에 박차를 가하고 있다.

Sunlin University (President Kwak Jin-hwan) RISE Business Group, with support from the Ministry of Education and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, hosted the '2025 RISE-UP Startup Camp' at the Gyeongju Hilton from September 24th to 25th.
Approximately 20 students participated in this two-day, one-night camp. They experienced all stages of a startup, including idea generation, differentiation strategy development, naming and slogan creation, target customer identification, revenue structure design, PR and marketing strategy, and business model development. Participants also had the opportunity to verify the marketability and investment potential of their ideas through team presentations and mock funding.
In the final presentation, the SunlinRISE team's "Adhesive Band for Catheter Fixation" won the grand prize. Teams that proposed outstanding ideas will receive follow-up support, including commercialization support, patent application assistance, and prototype enhancements.
Grand prize winner Kwon Na-young said, "Although it was a short period of time, I was able to experience the entire startup process and learn how to develop an idea into a practical business." She added, "The most valuable lesson was the opportunity to think from an investor's perspective through the mock funding."
Director Han Jeong-an of the RISE Project Team stated, "This camp provided an opportunity to develop students' creative ideas into concrete commercialization models." He added, "We will continue to revitalize the local startup ecosystem and foster young entrepreneurs through the RISE Project."
Meanwhile, the Sunlin University RISE Project Team is accelerating the establishment of a university-led, demand-driven startup ecosystem by operating various startup programs and supporting established startups centered around the "Idea Startup Valley."
