파주시 금촌2동 주민자치회는 지난 25일 마을의제사업의 일환으로 ‘반려견 배설물 관리 캠페인’과 ‘탄소중립 나눔장터’를 동시에 개최해 성황리에 마쳤다고 밝혔다.

이날 오후 2시 금촌 금릉역 광장에서 열린 ‘반려견 배설물 관리 캠페인’은 반려견 산책 시 지켜야 할 기본 매너를 알리고, 주민 간 배려와 공존의 산책 문화를 확산하기 위해 마련됐다.
지역현안분과(분과장 최창숙) 위원과 주민자치회 위원들이 직접 참여해 시민들에게 미니 퀴즈와 현장 인터뷰를 통해 반려견 예절을 홍보했다.
캠페인에서는 ‘배변봉투 지참 및 즉시 수거’, ‘목줄 착용 및 제어’, ‘산책 중 시민 배려’ 등 올바른 행동 수칙을 안내했으며, 같은 장소에서 열린 ‘청소년 문화거리 축제’와 연계돼 가족 단위 참가자와 청소년들의 자발적인 참여가 이어졌다.
같은 날 오전 11시부터 오후 3시까지는 금촌 중앙로 자율방범초소 앞 일대에서 ‘탄소중립 나눔장터’가 열렸다.

이미숙 주민자치회 회장은 “주민들의 적극적인 참여로 품격 있는 산책 문화와 고쳐 쓰는 마을 문화를 함께 만들어갈 수 있음을 확인했다”며 “이번 캠페인들을 계기로 반려견과 시민이 서로 존중하고, 자원을 아끼는 문화가 더욱 확산되길 기대한다”고 전했다.
