고양특례시가 지역 문화예술 발전에 기여한 예술인들을 격려하는 자리를 마련했다.
고양특례시는 4일 고양시청 문예회관에서 개최된 '11월 직원 소통·공감의 날 행사'에서 문화예술진흥 유공자 16명에게 표창장을 수여했다고 5일 밝혔다.
이번 표창은 고양시 문화예술의 저변 확대와 지역문화 진흥, 시민의 문화 향유 기회 확대에 기여한 예술인들의 공로를 인정하고 자긍심을 높이기 위해 진행됐다.

올해 수상자들은 ▲문화예술 저변 확대 ▲글로벌 한류 콘텐츠 확산과 공연 거점 도시 조성 ▲지역 예술창작 기반 조성 ▲전통문화예술의 계승 및 전파 등 다양한 분야에서 두드러진 활동을 펼쳐온 인사들이다.
수상자에는 고양문화재단, (사)한국예총 고양지회, 고양시립예술단, 고양문화원, 전통문화단체 관계자 등 지역 문화예술계를 이끌어 온 예술인들이 포함됐다.
이동환 고양특례시장은 "문화도시 고양특례시는 시민의 예술적 참여와 예술인들의 헌신으로 만들어지고 있다"며 "앞으로도 문화예술이 지역 곳곳에서 숨 쉬는 도시를 만들어 고양특례시를 글로벌 문화도시로 발전시켜 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.
