고양특례시 일산동구 중산1동 주민자치회는 주민 참여형 나눔 프로그램 DIY 나만의 생활공작소 너와 내게 주는 선물이 성황리에 마무리됐다고 18일 밝혔다.

이 프로그램은 생활에 필요한 물품을 주민들이 직접 만들고, 완성된 제품을 지역 내 소외계층에 전달하는 방식으로 진행돼 공동체 활동의 의미를 더했다.
참여를 원하는 주민들의 신청을 받아 진행된 이번 사업은 만들기의 즐거움을 체험하고 나눔을 실천하는 수요 맞춤형 주민자치 프로그램으로 호응이 높았다.
전체 일정은 세 차례로 구성됐으며 8월 8일 1차 모기기피제 만들기 활동을 시작으로 9월 12일 2차 테라리움 만들기, 지난 14일 3차 활동에서는 나만의 에코백 만들기가 진행됐다.
특히 3차 에코백 제작 활동에서는 주민들이 모든 제작 과정에 적극적으로 참여해 에코백 50여 개를 완성했으며 완성된 에코백은 중산1동 지역사회보장협의체를 통해 소외계층에 전달될 예정이다.
중산1동 주민자치회 관계자는 주민들의 창의성과 참여를 더욱 이끌어낼 수 있는 프로그램을 지속 발굴해 지역사회에 긍정적인 영향을 확산시키겠다고 밝혔다.
