파주시가 지역 대표 축제 현장에서 시민과 함께하는 청렴 문화 확산에 나섰다.
파주시는 지난 21일 임진각 일원에서 열린 제29회 파주장단콩축제장에서 감사관 직원과 시민고충처리위원이 참여한 가운데 청렴 홍보활동을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
이번 홍보활동은 '청렴인(IN), 부패아웃(OUT)'을 주제로 진행됐다.
이는 '청렴은 담고 부패는 버린다'는 의미를 담은 것으로, 파주시는 시민이 직접 참여하도록 유도해 청렴 문화를 널리 확산하고 관심을 높이는 데 주력했다.

특히 공직자가 솔선수범해 실천하는 청렫의 중요성을 시민들과 직접 공유함으로써 '시민과 함께 만드는 청렴파주'의 메시지를 전달했다.
파주시는 축제장을 찾은 관람객들에게 청렴 홍보 물품을 배부하며 시의 청렴 의지와 함께 부패·공익신고 방법을 안내했다.
또한 시민고충처리위원이 직접 나서 고충민원 신청 대상과 처리 절차를 설명하고, '현장 중심'의 민원 해결에 대한 홍보활동도 병행했다.

파주시 관계자는 "수많은 관광객들과 지역 주민들이 함께하는 파주장단콩축제에서 청렴 홍보활동을 펼침으로써 청렴 문화가 더욱 확산되길 바란다"고 말했다.
