조병옥 음성군수는 20일 용산산업단지 진입도로 개설공사 현장을 직접 방문해 사업 추진 현황을 확인하고, 현장의 애로사항을 보고받는 등 전반적인 진행 상황을 종합적으로 살폈다.
아울러 동절기 해제 후 공사가 차질 없이 재개될 수 있도록 철저한 준비 작업을 당부하고 현장 안전관리도 더욱 강화해 줄 것을 주문했다.
용산산업단지 진입도로 개설사업은 반기문광장에서 음성군 농업기술센터까지 2.83km 구간에 330억 원을 투입해 도로 신설 및 확포장하는 사업이다.
군은 용산산업단지의 물류 공급 인프라를 확충해 기업이 안정적으로 사업을 영위할 수 있도록 안정적인 기반을 마련할 계획이다.
또한 공사에 따른 교통 혼잡을 최소화하기 위한 대책과 우기 대비 공정 관리 방안을 꼼꼼히 준비하는 한편, 민원 사항을 발 빠르게 검토해 선제 대응을 강화할 방침이다. 이를 통해 산업단지의 경쟁력을 높이고 정주 환경을 개선하는 두 가지 과제를 동시에 달성하겠다는 구상이다.
군 관계자는 “용산산업단지 조성이 지역경제 회복의 마중물이자 활력소의 역할을 하는 핵심 프로젝트인 만큼 산업단지 물류 수송의 두 발이 되어줄 진입도로 개설공사에 총력을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
