【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시는 탄금공원 내 나무숲놀이터 시설 개선사업을 마무리하고, 오는 3월 7일부터 신규 시설 ‘무지개 미끄럼틀’의 운영을 시작한다고 6일 밝혔다.
나무숲놀이터는 2월 28일부터 운영을 재개했으며, 최종 점검을 마친 무지개 미끄럼틀이 가동되면 한층 더 풍성한 놀이공간으로 거듭날 전망이다.
30m가 넘는 나무를 그대로 살린 자연친화형 놀이터인 나무숲놀이터는 아이들이 숲 그늘 아래서 바람과 햇살, 계절의 변화를 온몸으로 느끼며 뛰놀 수 있는 공간이다.
남한강변의 개방감 있는 자연환경은 도심에서는 쉽게 경험할 수 없는 상쾌한 여유와 쾌적함을 제공한다.
이번 개선사업으로 아이들이 더욱 역동적으로 뛰놀 수 있는 무지개 미끄럼틀을 설치했다.
