이날 출하 발대식에는 최승환 제천시 부시장을 비롯해 박영기 제천시의회 의장, 김꽃임 충북도의회 산업경제위원장, 로컬푸드협동조합 생산 농가 등 230명이 참석했다.
지역 농산물의 안정적인 생산과 소비 활성화를 위해 마련된 이번 발대식에서는 농산물우수관리(GAP) 인증 교육과 제천로컬푸드 농가 교육도 함께 진행됐다.
시 관계자는 “로컬푸드는 농가 소득 안정과 지역경제 활성화에 중요한 역할을 하고 있다”라며 “농산물 생산과 유통이 쉽지 않은 상황에도 불구하고 현장에서 최선을 다하고 있는 농가들을 지원하고, 유통 기반을 확대하기 위해 지속적으로 노력하겠다”라고 말했다.
